Interior Design
An interior designer incorporates effective qualities that takes an ordinary space and transforms it into a client’s desired living and working area. At the beginning of a project, an essential characteristic of an interior designer is that she listens to the client’s inspirations and needs without bias in order to guide and create an area with those components in mind. With every project, it is paramount that the designer is considerate of her client’s budgetary constraints. Although it is detail oriented and time consuming, the interior designer must be able to organize and manage the various specialists used in order to install and complete a space. Another aspect of an interior designer’s qualifications is that she is trained to accurately understand building code compliance and regulations and solve issues that arise concerning these codes during the project. These aspects of listening to the clients, budgetary considerations, managing of resources and contractors, and building codes contribute to a successful interior design project.
